Pricing

Our prices vary depending on the following factors, starting at about £100 for a simple one or two page website.

Scope

The general size of your desired website is its scope. This varies from one or two pages to twenty or more depending on your needs. As a general rule of thumb, the more pages that need to be created, the longer it will take and the higher the quote.

Complexity

Some websites are very simple, others are dynamic and interactive, incorporating blogs, forums, shopping carts and administrative tools. Adding these features (generally performed by Silverlight, Wordpress, phpBB or PHP/MySQL) increases the complexity of the website and therefore, the price.

Search Engine Optimisation

All of our websites are designed to maximise search engine recognition and place the website high on relevant searches, through a combination of meta data and keyword placement. You may opt out of this service if desired.

Hosting

An optional extra is for G&C Web Design to arrange for hosting for you. For this service, there will be a regular fee which also covers any minor adjustments you wish to make to your site. The price for hosting will vary depending on the bandwidth and space required.
